DESCRIPTION:2025 – Annual Meeting\nWednesday November 4th\, 2025\n\nHosted Networking Reception: 5:30 p.m. • Dinner 6:30 p.m. \nLocation\nGranite Links Golf Course \nPurchase Tickets Here \nSponsorships Available \nGuest Speaker\nMeredith Slesinger\nAdministrator\, Rail & Transit Division\nMassachusetts Department of Transportation \nAs Administrator of MassDOT’s Rail & Transit Division\, Meredith Slesinger is leading the Healey-Driscoll Administration’s charge to expand the Commonwealth’s intercity passenger and freight rail network while strengthening transit service across Massachusetts. Meredith joined MassDOT in August 2020 and oversees the Commonwealth’s passenger and freight rail programs and its 15 Regional Transit Authorities. Under her leadership\, the Division launched Compass Rail\, a long-term vision for expanding intercity passenger service\, including future west–east service between Boston and Albany. \nUnder Meredith’s direction\, MassDOT has secured more than $150 million in federal funding to advance key rail initiatives. Her collaboration with Amtrak and CSX led to a $108 million Federal Railroad Administration grant make infrastructure improvements along the Inland Route\, which will result in two daily roundtrips between Boston\, Springfield\, and New Haven in 2030. This effort was recognized by WTS-Boston’s 2024 Innovative Transportation Solutions Award. \nMeredith also represents Massachusetts in several national forums that shape the future of rail\, including the State-Amtrak Intercity Passenger Rail Committee\, the Northeast Corridor Commission\, and the AASHTO Rail Council.\nBefore joining MassDOT\, she held senior leadership roles at Amtrak\, the Northeast Corridor Commission\, and the American Public Transportation Association\, bringing extensive experience in strategic planning\, policy development\, and intergovernmental relations.\nA Washington\, D.C. native and New York University graduate\, Meredith now resides in Boston\, where she continues to champion innovation\, connectivity\, and long-term investment in the region’s transportation future. \nSponsorships are currently available.
