A mechanical engineer by trade\, he began his career in the rail industry with GE Transportation in 1999. In his initial stint with GE\, Chad worked with customers globally to create locomotive reliability improvement plans across a fleet of 12\,000 locomotives. In 2012 he joined BNSF as the Director of Locomotive Reliability and Maintenance\, where he held responsibility for North America’s largest locomotive fleet. In 2015 Chad rejoined GE Transportation\, assuming responsibility for manufacturing quality across the unit exchange parts program before becoming the Vice President of Field Service and Maintenance Management for the Canadian Class I’s and Short Lines.
