The New England Railroad Club is pleased to announce that it is partnering with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to expand the popular Rail Forum and Exposition held each year in Worcester, Massachusetts, through the addition of the Eastern Region Highway-Rail Crossing Safety Conference. This first-ever joint conference and expo will highlight best practices, processes, policies, and new developments in rail crossing safety, while touching on some of the other important topics currently facing New England railroads.
Representatives from the region's passenger, freight, and tourist railroads - as well as federal transportation agencies, other state agencies, engineering and consulting firms, and industry suppliers will all be in attendance. We expect to have over 500 people join us for the event. The conference and expo will include:
- A new multi-day format with expanded events
- Seminars and presentations from noted industry experts
- The popular exhibitor pavilion with more than 60 booths representing companies from throughout the industry
- An equipment display and more!
We would like to invite you to attend this conference to interface and network with colleagues and industry experts as we discuss the future of rail transportation. On these pages are all you will need to participate. For attendees we have included a range of ticketing options that will allow you to join in the events you are most interested in, and at a cost you can afford. Exhibitors and sponsors will be able to reserve booth space and purchase tickets or sponsorships.
What You'll Find at the 2013 Conference & Expo
The three day seminar program will focus timely topics such as FHWA Railroad Safety and Incident Investigation, High-speed Rail Development and Crossing Safety, Norfolk Southern's Safety Outreach Program, and updates on four freight and passenger public-private partnership initiatives in New England. The popular equipment display will allow attendees to get up close to the actual machines and equipment that move, maintain, and build, and provide a forum where you can participate in a series of "hands on" seminars as well. Our exhibitor hall allows you to talk to representatives of over 50 companies and learn about their products and services and how they may be of benefit to your railroad.
The One Industry Event You'll Want to Attend
